We’ll take you on a search for the most beautiful Northern Lights in Finnish Lapland. Let yourself be captivated by one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena. During the experience, we’ll explain how to “chase the Northern Lights” and why and how this incredible natural phenomenon occurs. Then, we’ll let nature take over and watch in awe as its colours illuminate the night sky. To preserve these unforgettable memories, we’ll use our professional camera to capture beautiful photographs of you beneath the magical Northern Lights. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, no one can guarantee that they will appear. That’s why we offer unlimited mileage, giving you the best possible chance of seeing them. If necessary, we’ll travel as far as it takes to find the best viewing spots, away from light pollution and crowded tourist areas, so you can fully enjoy this unique spectacle of nature.

Arctic Experience at a Local Family Property

Our unique advantage: our activity takes place with locals, away from the main tourist areas. Before the excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a genuine Finnish property and discover a more authentic side of Lapland. We’ll then put on our snowshoes and venture into the snowy forest, where your guide will share fascinating information about the nature and wildlife surrounding you. Our trail will take us to the shores of a frozen lake, where you’ll have the chance to experience one of the region’s most traditional activities: ice fishing. A timeless moment in a breathtaking setting, where you can enjoy one of the things Lapland does best: its untouched nature. Afterwards, we’ll warm up around the fire with a homemade meal prepared by our local hosts, while sharing our knowledge of Finnish and Lappish culture, traditions and way of life. We’ll finish the experience back at the property with a photo session in our Christmas-decorated cabin. Children will also have the opportunity to enjoy some traditional sledding in the snow.

Traditional Sauna and Finnish Bath

It is an integral part of everyday Finnish culture and traditions. If you’re coming to Lapland not only to enjoy its nature but also to discover the local way of life, this experience is made for you. We’ll take you to a traditional Lappish cabin located by a lake, surrounded by beautiful snow-covered nature. Before letting you experience the sauna for yourself, we’ll share its history with you, along with some fascinating stories and local anecdotes. You’ll also have the opportunity to safely take a dip in the cold lake water. This traditional hot-and-cold experience is often associated with a feeling of well-being and is an authentic part of the Finnish sauna tradition. Before heading back, we’ll gather around the fire and cook sausages, just as Finns traditionally do, enjoying a warm and convivial moment together in the heart of Lapland.

6–10 km Husky Sledding Safari

Dreaming of a unique adventure deep in a snowy forest? Come and discover the magic of Lapland at the pace of a team of sled dogs. Set off on an unforgettable journey through breathtaking winter landscapes, far from the hustle and bustle of Rovaniemi. You’ll be welcomed into this family-run husky farm, where you’ll meet the friendly huskies who will be more than ready to take you on an exhilarating adventure through this winter wonderland. Our experienced mushers will first give you all the necessary instructions and safety tips. Then, it’s your turn to guide the dogs and experience the thrill of driving your own sled along a beautiful 6 to 10 km trail through the snowy forest. Once the ride is over, you’ll have plenty of time to spend with the huskies, get to know them and take as many photos with them as you like. An unforgettable experience for nature and animal lovers, and a wonderful way to discover the wild beauty of Finnish Lapland. 

Private Lappish Dinner

Lapland is best savored through its food. We invite you to discover the best of Finnish cuisine in an exceptional setting. We welcome you to an authentic village near Rovaniemi, where you’ll dine in a traditional Lappish “mökki”, a cozy cabin nestled in nature between a lake and the forest.It is in this peaceful setting that you’ll enjoy a three-course meal, lovingly prepared by a local Finnish chef specializing in Lappish cuisine. Each ingredient comes from the region and also tells a story about the local culture and way of life, which we’ll share with you during your dinner by the fireplace. The menu will be a surprise, with all dietary requirements and restrictions taken into account if needed. An intimate and unique evening filled with authentic flavours, designed to make your stay in Lapland truly unforgettable.

      Frozen waterfalls of Korouoma

Korouoma is a truly unique place in Finnish Lapland and a must-see during your stay. Located about 1.5 hours from Rovaniemi, this 5 km trail will take you away for a day into one of the most beautiful landscapes in the region. We’ll hike through the peaceful Lappish forest before reaching the spectacular Korouoma Canyon, a natural wonder shaped by geological processes over hundreds of millions of years. We’ll provide you with ice grips to ensure a safer and more comfortable walk on the snowy and icy trails. Once equipped, the adventure can begin. Along the way, your guide will explain the geological formation of the canyon and the fascinating history of this unique landscape. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the incredible surroundings and capture the most beautiful photographs, preserving the memories of this unforgettable day. We’ll also make the most of this spectacular setting for lunch, gathering around the fire to cook sausages in the traditional Finnish way, surrounded by the beauty of the Lappish wilderness.

Reindeer Farm & Sledding Safari

Discover the most iconic animal of Lapland. We’ll take you to one of the oldest and most authentic reindeer farms near Rovaniemi. The reindeer herder will introduce you to the animals and show you the traditional sled, before you settle in and get ready for a 7 km safari through a magical winter landscape. Halfway through the journey, we’ll stop to enjoy a snack around the campfire. This will be the perfect opportunity to ask the reindeer herders questions about their animals, local life and traditions, while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the snowy forest. You’ll also have the opportunity to feed the reindeer and take photos with them, capturing memories of this unique encounter. Around two hours of pure enjoyment, combining enchanting landscapes, the discovery of one of Lapland’s most fascinating animals, and an authentic meeting with local people who are happy to share their traditions and way of life with you.

This is a self-guided experience, giving children the freedom to have fun and enjoy sledding in a safe and peaceful environment. Located just 25 minutes from Rovaniemi, our property offers the perfect combination of accessibility and authentic Lappish nature, surrounded by a typical local village and beautiful wilderness. We’ll provide the sleds and everything you need to make a fire, enjoy a traditional Finnish-style snack and taste local juice. A charming Christmas-decorated cabin will also be available if you’d like to take beautiful photos and capture memories of your day. If needed, you’ll also have access to a warm indoor room where you can take a break and warm up. A peaceful and authentic break from your stay in Lapland, where you can slow down, reconnect with your loved ones and share a warm and magical moment together.
